CantiamoPDX Summer 2025, Portland State University
August 1-3, 2025

"Cantiamo" is the Italian Verb for singing. "Let's Sing" or "We sing."

We are thrilled to announce that our inaugural CantiamoPDX summer program, held from July 2-28, 2024, was a resounding success! Over the course of 15 intense hours, participants immersed themselves in the rich vocal traditions of the 19th Century Bel Canto period, engaging in both group work and individual masterclass sessions. Singers honed their skills in trills, agility, portamento, appoggiatura, and more, culminating in a free concert showcasing their refined repertoire.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, we were able to offer partial or full scholarships to all participants this year. For Summer 2025, we are excited to announce that CantiamoPDX will be completely tuition-free!

Spend the weekend learning and polishing up your bel canto singing skills and practices. Three full days of working our way through individual arias and ensembles by Bellini, Donizetti, and Rossini, followed by a concert to show off your newly refined skills and bel canto style. All at Portland State University School of Music.
